Hi, I'm Sarah!

My name is Sarah Tellesbo and I'm your friendly neighborhood (feminist) therapist.
I do therapy a little different than others you may have worked with. I was trained in feminist-multicultural therapy and have a fundamental belief that we cannot fully disentangle our wellbeing as individuals from our wellbeing as a society. That means that sessions with me often include explorations of the individual, communal, and societal factors that are impacting your mental health and wellbeing. Additionally, it is important to me to always be in pursuit of anti-oppressive therapy practices; I aim to blend personal healing with political/structural awareness in a non-judgmental, non-hierarchical space. I am licensed in Utah and California.

What are my politics?
Note: Because I believe that therapy is inherently political, I freely share my beliefs to establish emotional safety with my clients. That said, you absolutely do not have to share all (or any) of these views to participate in therapy with me and we don’t have to center politics as a primary focus if that isn’t helpful for you.
